Deshonda Charles Tackett

Deshonda Charles Tackett, of the Tackett Firm PLLC has been practicing law in Houston, Texas since 2005.  Her practice focuses on Labor and Employment litigation.  She also handles family law and probate matters.  Attorney Tackett represents clients in matters involving FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, and TCHRA covering areas of employment discrimination,unlawful termination, sexual harassment, wage disputes, and employee severance matters. 

 Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mrs. Tackett received her Bachelors of Accountancy from Loyola University New Orleans and her law degree from Tulane University Law School, class of 2003. 

Mrs. Tackett is licensed to practice law in the states of Texas, Louisiana, New York and Connecticut. She is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
