Welcome to HLAGreetings, It is an honor and privilege to serve as president of the Houston Lawyers Association for the year 2011 – 2012. Since 1955, our organization has enjoyed a rich history of providing its lawyers a forum as well as opportunities to address various issues that affect the African-American community, and the community at large. Some of Houston’s most prominent attorneys have served this organization’s helm. I am honored to be selected to serve and will continue to build on the legacy left by those who served before me.
